Daniil Kharms-festival 2005: An
international art-manifestation in Rotterdam, Amsterdam and other Dutch cities
with theatre, film, music and fine arts inspired by and dedicated to Daniil
Kharms. The festival gathers acts and artists that work directly or indirectly
with the texts of this Russian writer. By doing this the festival hopes to establish
a nice program for the audience, an inspiring happening for the artists and in
the end more interest for the work of Daniil Kharms and more in general
understanding of Russian culture and Russian history of the 30's. The acts
mainly come from Holland but also from Russia, England, Denmark, Germany and
the Czech Republic.
